Youth Worker's Report 2009

Selestial:
First Sunday each month
7.30 - 9.00 p.m.

Thought provoking and reflective is the new format for Selestial. The Apostles
Creed and the Nicene Creed are said in many of our church services, but do you
ever really think about what you're saying? Scratch beneath the surface of
the words and there is a lot to think about and to be challenged about.
You're more than welcome to come and join us.

Sunday Club:
Each Sunday during morning service.

Praise God, that our Sunday Club is growing. The children are having a great time! Thank you to all the Sunday club team for all they do in teaching our children.

Chillout:
Wednesday evenings 7 - 8.30pm
Years 7 - 9

What is the white plastic collar for? Where does God live? How can I get to heaven? Why do people take religion for granted?
Could God be a woman?

These are just a few of the questions the young people asked John when he came to take part in our questions and answers session.

We have a new term about to start, with a huge variety of crafts, games, activities, wii, and much more for the young people to take part in.
If you know of any young people who might be interested in attending Chillout
. please see Louisa for more information and a flyer to give to them.

Chillout2: Tuesday evenings
7.30 - 9pm Years 10+

The young people really appreciate somewhere to come
and `sound off about issues that they face, discussions about school, morals, ethics, faith and spirituality are a regular feature, prompted by something that is happening to them in their everyday lives. Mix this with table tennis and snooker -We have a great night!
