Services are held every Sunday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The Junior Church meet on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m.

CHURCH ACTIVITIES

The Women’s Fellowship

The Women’s Fellowship meets every Monday afternoon at 3.00 p.m. with the exception of Bank Holidays. The meeting is normally a devotional one, with a variety of guest speakers. The Ladies then share fellowship over a cup of tea. The meeting lasts for approximately one hour.

The Ladies’ Circle

The Ladies’ Circle meets on alternate Tuesday evenings at 7.30 p.m. A variety of invited guests speak on a wide range of topics.

The Men’s Supper Club

The Men’s Supper Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month (except August and September). The gentlemen enjoy a three-course meal priced £8.00 and then settle down to listen to guest speakers.


Regular community based activities take place on the premises. The present schedule is:

Monday 9.30 to 11am     Drop In Centre open
Tuesday 4.30 to 6.30 pm     Slimmers World slimming club
Wednesday 10am to midday     Darlaston Extend Gentle Exercise Club
                   7 pm to 9pm     Card Making
                   7pm to 8pm     TAE KWON Do self defence class

Thursday 9.30 to 11am     Drop In Centre open
               7pm to 9pm     Karate Club for beginners and the more advanced
Friday 9.30 to 11am     Drop In Centre open
          7pm to 8pm     TAE KWON Do self defence class

Darlaston Methodist Church has undergone a major makeover thanks largely due to a grant from the Lottery Community Fund and the Walsall Circuit of the Methodist Church. The old Sunday School rooms have been refurbished to a high standard in order to serve as the base for our Community Outreach Work. The kitchen has been enlarged and new fittings and appliances installed. To bring the premises in line with the requirements of the Disability Act, ramps have been improved, corridors levelled to eliminate steps, hand rails fitted to give access throughout the building and a special toilet created. 

We have just appointed a new Project Co-ordinator who will be responsible for expanding the activities available.

The Copper Kettle Café

is open between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon every Tuesday for food and fellowship at very low prices.
We offer a warm welcome to anyone who wishes to ‘drop in’ for a cuppa and a snack.
